Sam Azimtash is a founder of Azimtash Law. Mr. Azimtash specializes in lemon law, personal injury, and labor and employment law and brings with him years of experience in litigation and trial in order to better serve his clients.

Results matter and Mr. Azimtash’s results speak for themselves. Mr. Azimtash has successfully litigated cases against some of the biggest car manufacturers in the world virtually all over California, recovering million of dollars while holding the manufacturers liable for penalties and damages that far exceed the value of his clients’ cars. In one instance, Mr. Azimtash recovered more than $160,000 in total settlement for a car that was purchased for about $23,000.

Moreover, Mr. Azimtash’s experience, knowledge, expertise, and track record is so invaluable that other attorneys in his area often use Mr. Azimtash as a consultant to enhance their litigation or as a “partner” to further litigate or try their cases.

Prior to founding Azimtash Law, Mr. Azimtash was the lead defense attorney for hundreds of cases involving lemon law, consumer warranty, fraud, breach of contract, and unfair business practices actions on behalf of Hyundai, Tesla, and Mercedes-Benz. In addition, Mr. Azimtash also defended cases involving automobile accidents, pedestrian accidents, slip and falls, and catastrophic injuries involving the spine and brain for Mercury Insurance (as an in-house lawyer), solely working on cases that were of high value. Mr. Azimtash also has experience in labor and employment matters by previously advocating at a plaintiff-side employment firm
where he defended employees who were wrongfully terminated and/or had their wages unlawfully withheld.

Mr. Azimtash’s experience is not limited to a law firm and includes working closely with both Federal and State Court judges as a judicial clerk. Mr. Azimtash has served as a judicial clerk for Judge Geoffrey Glass at the Superior Court of California in Orange County, where he drafted orders on matters relating to lemon law, personal injury, and employment matters. Mr. Azimtash also clerked for Judge David Schultz in the United States District Court, where he assisted the Court with orders and pre-trial procedures. Such experience allows Mr. Azimtash to be better-suited to advocate matters on behalf of his clients in litigation and trial in both State and Federal Court.

Mr. Azimtash’s tactical decision-making, knowledge of procedural and substantive law, negotiation skills, superb writing and oral advocacy skills, and aggressiveness allows him to obtain excellent outcomes for his clients. Mr. Azimtash’s experience in working for car manufacturers and insurance companies sets him apart because he knows exactly how these large companies and their swarms of attorneys operate and how they defend against lawsuits.

Every day, Mr. Azimtash incorporates such knowledge, skill, and experience to represent his clients in their lemon law, personal injury, and employment matters.
Mr. Azimtash graduated on top of his class (summa cum laude) from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Thereafter, Mr. Azimtash obtained his Juris Doctor from University of Minnesota Law School, which consistently ranks amongst the top law schools in the nation, and was the recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and placed on Dean’s List for his stellar academic records. While at University of Minnesota Law School, Mr. Azimtash partook in the Maynard Pirsig ABA Moot Court and was nominated as a top oralist due to his outstanding oral argument and legal writing skills. Mr. Azimtash also obtained his Master of Business Administration in finance and management from University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, which also consistently ranks amongst the best business schools in the nation.

When he is not advocating for his clients, Mr. Azimtash enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and the California beaches. Mr. Azimtash is also an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers.
